Who we are:
Northbeam was founded by Andres Korin, who has previously co-founded and scaled two fintech startups. With 20+ years’ experience in startups, investment banking (J.P. Morgan) and CFO roles, Andres now partners with companies through Northbeam, created to support growing companies get a better understanding of their financial opportunities, obligations, pitfalls and planning.
His expertise includes financial strategy, fundraising, pricing, unit economics, risk frameworks, and he has broad sector experience across FinTech, SaaS, ClimateTech and HealthTech.
Andres is also a husband and father of two, and he is passionate about painting, drawing and sculpting.

My background in banking helped me value structure and discipline, while my time as a startup founder helped me develop a “test everything” mindset. That balance of agility and precision is powerful, especially in regulated sectors, where responsibility and resilience are as critical as innovation.
For me, precision means more than just accuracy. It’s about clarity, utility, and using the right tools to turn ambition into progress. It’s about equipping founders with a clear path forward, guiding them to transform bold visions into achievable growth.
